A few months ago, I opened an online fabric store specializing in premium activewear fabrics. Sewists loved it. The site worked great. The orders were rolling in. Things happened so fast that I never even got around to mentioning it here, but most of my online friends knew about it from Instagram and Facebook. But I was 30+ weeks pregnant and miserable. Huge rolls of fabric were overtaking my kitchen, and bending over my cutting table (not to mention moving those rolls around) was debilitating. So, after just a couple weeks of being open, I threw in the towel. It was a difficult decision to make because I knew I'd found a gaping hole in our industry, but I did what I had to do at the time.

I have a somewhat limited selection at the moment, but I'm looking forward to fall when I plan to stock fleece, softshell, technical sweater knits and other fun stuff.
