My first sweater for the upcoming fall/winter season (and for luvinthemommyhood's summer sweater knit along), Cloudy Sunday, is DONE! And I absolutely love it.
This gorgeous boucle yarn was gifted to me by my mother-in-law, and at first, I was a bit apprehensive.
It was a little tricky to knit with since it basically has loops coming out of it all over the place, but once I got used to it, it was fine. There were a couple moments of panic where I dropped a stitch and couldn't find it to save my life. I finagled it, and everything worked out okay.
If I had it to do over again, I MIGHT knit the extra-small instead of small. I would definitely to the extra-small for the hips/waist since that seems to be where I am smallest.
But no worries; I like it just the same.
Scott went with Harper and me (see how I used "me" correctly? Please, fellow bloggers, take note!) to a trail head in Olympus Cove for this little photo shoot. My little cutie sneaked her way into a few of the shots...
Oh yes, she is walking all over the place now! Crawling is no longer her preferred method of transportation.
I swear she'll be running before long...
